Deputies Conduct "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" Blitz Countywide

The Clark County Sheriff's Office, with overtime funds available from a grant from the Ohio Traffic Safety Office, will be placing additional deputies on county roadways during the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign.

The focus of the enforcement will be impaired operators of motor vehicles, speeding violations and seat belt enforcement.

Deputies will enforce a zero tolerance policy for these violations.

Deputies will have added enforcement on the county roadway during this campaign. The enforcement effort will be from Friday, August 18, 2017, to Sunday, September 3, 2017.

Sheriff Burchett reminds all motorists not to operate a motor vehicle while under the influence and to always wear your seat belt while operating or as a passenger in a motor vehicle.
